Before your first call
There is no account to create, no profile to fill in, and no email to hand over. That means there is nothing about you to leak before you have even said hello.
You see who is online and choose who to talk to. You are never dropped into a room with strangers or paired with whoever happens to be next in a queue.
Start in text if you want to read the room before switching to video. Decide your own rules in advance: what you will share, what you will not, and how quickly you will leave if something feels off.
- Do not share your full name, address, workplace, or financial details with someone you have just met.
- Treat the first conversation as a first conversation — not an application for trust.
- If a chat is not for you, there is no score to protect and no reason to stay polite about it.
During a call
Every call is a private room of exactly two people. There is no group line, no audience, and no third person who can join uninvited.
Contact details — phone numbers, emails, and social handles — are filtered out of messages automatically, so they cannot be swapped mid-chat by mistake or by pressure.
You hold the exit at all times. Ending a call takes one tap and needs no explanation, and there is no "next" button hovering over the conversation to rush either side toward a decision.
Privacy and recording
We do not offer any recording or playback feature. Calls are not recorded by us, and there is no call archive to download later.
The honest boundary: we cannot stop the person on the other side from using their own screen-recording or screenshot tools. Treat any call as if it could be captured, and do not share anything you would not want kept.
What you type stays in the conversation while you are in it. We do not hand your details to advertisers or resell them, and we do not build a profile of you to sell on.
On a shared or public device, close the tab when you are done. Nothing is left behind for you to sign out of.
Reporting and blocking
Every call carries its own report and block controls, on your side of the screen.
Blocking is instant. The person cannot reach you again, and you will not see them in the list.
Reporting sends the conversation to a moderation team that reviews flags around the clock. Accounts that keep getting reported leave. You do not have to justify a report — if a call felt wrong, that is reason enough.
- Report a call the moment it turns, not after you have given it another chance.
- Block first, decide later. Blocking is reversible on your terms; a bad conversation is not.
Adults only
MielaChat is intended for adults. The conversations here are between grown-ups and can be flirtatious, and we do not pretend otherwise.
Depending on where you live, the age at which you may use a service like this can be higher than 18. It is your responsibility to know and follow the rule that applies to you.
If you are below the age required in your region, this service is not for you. We ask adults to act like adults: no minors, no pretending to be someone you are not, and no pressing anyone past the line they have drawn.
